After completing a BA Hons in Illustration at Anglia Ruskin University Cambridge, Jayne worked for several years on a farm with people with learning difficulties and later as an employment advisor for the Papworth Trust.

After leaving to bring up her children, she gradually returned to creating art through drawing, collage and printmaking. For the last 2 years she has focused on creating steel welded sculptures after being trained by local artist, and subsequent dear friend, Tony Hillier, ”the most positive and encouraging person I have ever met”.

She lives in Cambridge, UK, with her husband and two daughters.
